To move up more Naoya Inoue needs:

    UNIfy WBA+WBC = #9 P4P
    WBO+WBA+WBC = #6 P4P
    UNDISputed 108 = #3 P4P

Undisputed 108 will be a great achievement, because he will be the only Undisputed Champion today, if anybody can do it...its Naoya Inoue :toney

No point or gain of moving out of 108

I havent seen the fight but congrats to both Inoue brothers.

Inoue doesn't have it easy. I pointed out his flaws which is why I can't support him with as much enthusiasm as I'd like to, but it's a history book feat beating Adrian Hernandez for WBC belt in his 6th pro fight, and I salute the guy.

As for the younger, 18 year old brother of Naoya..he beat a good fighter who is just coming off a KO victory over a guy who won and defended the minimumweight title against good opposition.

    Exciting stuff.

What a Flyweight division we have in our hands -
Naoya, Ioka, Gonzalez, Estrada, Yaegashi, Viloria's name should still be thrown out there.

I read on another site from someone who was there as it happened, state Hernandez did not look himself and that he was barey throwing punches and it was only later on that he started to throw.

IMO, Estrada, Ioka and Naoya need time. Estrada needs 2-3 fights where he executes lessons that can help him learn how to deal with Gonzalez, because it's a potentially very winnable fight for Estrada.

    Top 10?

Not yet, top 20 is more realistic

The dude hasn't beat anyone else of note and Hernandez wasn't even a top 10 fighter.

Way too fast, let's see him clean out more guys at the ridiculously stacked flyweight before we make any moves like this.

He will have his chance. Just not now.

That was a huge win though, needs a bit more.

It's far different than when Rigo beat Donaire. Donaire was a top 3-5 p4p and that's why Rigo's stock was boosted so much. Hernandez is good but nowhere near the status of Donaire had.

It will take years to do it. Hopkins won his first belt in 1995 and finally managed to unify all 4 in 2004 :!:

Granted, with the team Naoya has behind him and his already large fan base it will be a lot easier for him to get fights with other titlists but there are still mandatory fights and other bs.

He spars with "The Man" at Flyweight who is a stable mate of his so that fight won't happen

Mares is a top fighter who got there after beating some very good fighters like MORENO, Darchinyan, Agbeko, Perez, PDL. The ring magazine P4P is rubbish and is not a justification for putting other unworthy names into the list.

Mayweather, Ward, Rigo, Bradley, Wlad, Mikey, Pacquiao, Marquez, Gonzalez, it's too hard to pick a no.10.
By the way that list is in NO order.

I don't mind arguments for Inoue being P4P top 10 because he's achieved boxing history against a pretty good opponent, considering that he's only 20 YEARS OLD.

He's nowhere near top ten, but he is a god-damn beast of a fighter. He's a superb fighter.
