i don't see why, his opposition has been good so far. Taguchi, Kono, Narvaez, McDonnell, Carmona...considering he's only had 16 fights, that's pretty good going. obviously not the elite of the elite, but still better than most titlists

I think its because he fought narvaez early and was passed that test with flying colours, since then he hasent really continued on the path to bigger names.

Donaire has no business being in it.

Me too, too bad Nery can't stop cheating. Too much of a promotional risk at this point so I get why he wasn't invited.

I don't want to see Nery in anything anymore, and certainly not in the WBSS. He would almost certainly screw over his opponents , undermining the tournament as a whole. You would have to avoid bad apples like him in any kind of tourney in my opinion.

Looking forward to this bantamweight tournament it's going to be great.

How would you seed the fighters in this bantamweight tournament.

I think the seeds will be this.

    1 seed Inoue
    2 seed Burnett
    3 seed Rodriguez
    4 seed Tete

1 has to be seeded Inoue

After this i'm not sure Burnett or Tete either way? next then it's Rodriguez.

I think WBSS will want Burnett and Tete to fight in the semi-finals, because it will be a big fight in the UK.

If Burnett and Tete fight in the semi-finals that's going to take a lot out of each other.

Inoue would be odd's on to win the hole thing, but if Inoue faces Tete semi-finals hmmmmmmm I wonder how things turn out.

It would be great if Nery could be included, he should really be at 122 though, I'd like to see Rau'shee move back up and enter, doubt that happens, Tapales should fill the last spot if he is planning on returning to the ring or Oubaali.
