Navarrete is a huge 122 pound fighter he could easily fight at 126 and not be undersized there.

He needs to stick around 118 for a while.
He’s winning fights in style but he already looks physically outsized at times.
Some of the guys at 122 might be too much for him just now.

Maybe, maybe not. People always criticize his chin because of the Amagasa thing. Rigo said he entered the ring at 122 for that fight. Amagasa allegedly entered the ring a welterweight. Rigo took several flush shots from Donaire, and seemed to walk through Loma's power for the most part. He just took the best that Ceja had to offer repeatedly as well. So we would just have to wait and see. He won't be able to fight that way against, Inoue, or Navarrete. Hopefully this phone booth style was just a one off thing to prove a point. I hope Haymon gives him a call and tells him to fight his fight.

He looked good. He got touched a lot, but that's because he chose to stay in the pocket and fight close. Was a treat to see him like this. I think he really could have finished Ceja earlier but was actually enjoying himself. He seemed like he was fighting at 70% most of the time, which was enough to get some nice work in. He's still a master in the ring.

True, I just want to see him fight someone else besides Dogboe. To me Nery is a bigger threat than Navarrete, Navarrete is a big dude but I don't see him being "special", the way I see Inoue and Nery.

No way he looked good lol, also just because you stay in the pocket it doesn't mean you should be getting hit that much. Floyd stacked in the pocket a lot against Cotto and didn't get hit even close to as much as Rigo did with the amount of flush punches that landed. The most impressive thing to me about that right was Rigo's chin.

Inoue shouldn't move up in weight to 126. He will have physical disadvantages there.

    Skills pay the bills.
Plus Inoue is quite lean, but also has a thick build. So there is potential room for extra weight.
And the top dogs at 126 aren't big at all.

I think Inoue will be fine at 126.

Inoue has to gain quality muscle instead of just cutting less weight when he moves up

118 pounder Inoue weighed 131 against McDonnell, 135 pounder Loma weighs about 138 on fight night

Four divisions separating them but only about 7lbs in weight

Loma is a couple of inches taller than Inoue but the Japanese lesbian with thunder in her gloves has a 2'' longer reach

I think Inoue can go up as high as 126 and win a world title up there to become a five-weight champ.

Inoue's power at 126 won't be as affective as it is at 118 or 122. You can see this at Roman vs Rungvisai. The only boxer who could carried his power with him whenever he moves up in weight is Manny Pacquiao. That's just my opinion. I might be wrong.

Marquez. Mosley. Duran. Canelo's a much harder puncher at 160 than he is at 154/155. Lots of people carry their power up.
