Is that so? 23-0 (20 KO) Inoue's been the most dominant fighter in boxing for the last 10 years tearing through 3 divisions. 16-0 with 14 KOs in title fights losing 5, maybe 6 rounds in his entire career. Zero close fights or controversial decisions. Insanely skilled, insanely hard punching, always entertaining. The fact that he's been elevated to P4P #1 with almost non-existent fan fare or broad media campaigns and hype says it all.
Popularity contest. Half the posters here (including YOU) acknowledge that they don't follow the lower weight classes. Usyk fights in the second most popular division after welterweight. He's a gold medalist and had a huge back story coming into the fight (Russia-Ukraine war).
I don't know why people get so heated up about these things there's no such thing as a pound for pound really
Don't be silly Usyk is the clear P4P#1. Inoue is a thunderous punching Japanese lesbian leprechaun and we love him but he's campaigning in divisions with only about 20 registered pros in them and he's beating up fellow leprechauns at home. Usyk is slaying savage punching prime giants on the road and in their backyards. A same size Inoue would stand zero chance of defeating the Usyk God. Too slick, too skilled, too tough. Too Usyk.
For now Usyk Inoue should fight at featherweight and than maybe he can get same respect as Usyk fighting HW that is 20 pounds heavier than him.
