My god. Can you imagine how slick, fast, sexy and southpaw Usyk would be if you shrunk him down to 118 pounds? He'd be virtually unhittable and would box circles around the relatively straight up and down Inoue.
Inoue looks almost unstoppable, but he has yet to face true adversity. I don't consider Donaire as true adversity. I want to see him against a prime opponent who can potentially give him a tough fight, where the odds aren't heavily in his favor. I would like to see him become undisputed at 118, and then move up to 122 to fight Akhmadaliev & Fulton. If he beat those guys, then we're in business.
I was expecting the poll to favor Usyk but I would never have thought it would have been that one sided.
Same... In my opinion it's competitive for both and both have a case. Two true top p4p fighters without hype and b.s . Legit undefeated and dominant.
Wow, only 2 of 38 people have picked Inoue .... and I am one of them. You guys obviously know nothing about boxing! I am kidding, of course. Either one is a great choice. I just think Monster is more dominant and has the one thing that keeps Usyk from the top levels of the upper echelon and that is finishing power. In his nine title fights he has just three stoppages. There is nothing wrong with winning by decision but when we are picking nits to figure who is the best of the best he is lacking in that facet.
Inoue is better, but for now usyk is greater, so he has to be number 1 Inoue has plenty of time to cement himself as the best of his generation
