Is Yaegashi past prime or was the mexican just good?

    Bit of both
Yaegashi is past his prime, and Tecuapetla is a high energy aggressive guy, the sort that Yaegashi has fights with rather than boxes against

Inoue looked ****ed for most of round 5, Carmona being given a beating there

JESUS. mid way through the 5th an inoue decides "yeh i feel like ending it now" shifts to 6th gear and starts going hard with combinations. carmonas holding on and firing back like only a mexican warrior could but its not effective inoue is putting in serious work.

    carmona makes the bell

every round for inoue going into the 6th so far..

the 5th being very dominant . vicious punishment being dished out by the monster

Carmona's toughness is the only thing keeping this fight going.

carmona having a decent round while it seemed like the initial onslaught in the beginning of the round failed to stop him he began working while inoue rested. 20 seconds in the round to go and inoue starts the engine again hitting and hurting carmona he wobbled slightly into the corner and took even more punishment. mad ethe bell

    props to carmona

I'm disappointed, how did Inoue not end him quicker than Narvaez.

Inoue's hand apparently damaged...again... expect to see a 1-handed exhibition now
