If Rigondeaux and Inoue were able to meet at a catchweight between 118-122, who would you guys favour in this fight?
Rigo is old as my first poop. He has been over the hill for a number of years. I can only see Inoue decapitating his head with his power punches.
Um, Rigondeaux was dropped by a Cordoba jab and was almost KO'd by a Japanese nobody. Inoue would blast him the **** out. Of course, I believe Rigondeaux could also spark Inoue out.
Rigo was never "dropped" by a jab. A glove touching the canvas while off balance is a bit different then being dropped. He was never almost KO'd either. He was thrown to the mat the second time he went down against Jack the Pumpkin King. Who knows what Rigo has left? His last fight against a bum, he plodded around the ring before getting the first round KO.
Honestly for me it is hard to say. My head say Rigo, in theory he should be able to decision Inoue. But my gut says Inoue blasts him out.
Where is your proof Rigo is “Over the hill”?? Show performances that show this. Just because your boy got ****ing embarrassed by the sports PFP#1... doesn’t mean he was over the hill.
Rigo is very much over the hill. No fighter who relies on his speed isn't over the hill when they are 38 Cuban years old (that is probably much older than what he would have been if he had a US birth certificate). I'm not surprised he lost, when he moved up 2 weight classes, I expected that in the fashion that it happened in.
If its the rigo now Then inoue by brutal beating. If its prime rigo then rigo by boring beating but beating nonetheless. Rigo for all his coma-inducing style has bombs in his hands at 122 and i don't think inoue has seen anyone like him
A prime Pac would be too big, too strong, too long and too fast for him. You can cite the Sanchez draw but Pac never did that well against dirty fighters. Ledwaba wasn’t anywhere close to Rigo but he was suppose to be a master boxer and touted as a future top 10 p4p. He just couldn’t handle the power.
