At this point in time it is foolhardy to pick anybody from junior bantamweight to junior featherweight to defeat Inoue. I have to go with Inoue by late knockout in a fight that is not completely one-sided. That being said, Nakatani is a fantastic boxer and by early 2026 I expect him to be the best Japanese fighter in the world.
Cool fight, and as a fan of both fighters, one I hope to see made one day. My prediction as it stands today would be a pretty decent scrap that ultimately ends with Inoue winning via body shot some time in the mid rounds.
Inoue beats anyone from 126 down. With that said Nakatani is a beast and right now the only guy who could beat him around his weight is The Monster.
Junto is very talented and would have the best chance of legitimately beating Inoue since Fulton (at least on paper). He just has to get the opportunity.
