Inoue would pepper the **** out of Magsayo with jabs, hooks to the body, and anything he wants, but Magsayo could KO him with a single shot. Dude's too big.
If Inoue managed to beat Magsayo, he deserves all the credit in the world. Magsayo is naturally MUCH bigger.
James Ellsworth aphorisms about "any man with two hands has a fighting chance aside", the question here is whether Mark Magsayo can beat Inoue, and the answer is probably not. Naoya was a massive fly, and is still a pretty damn big bantam. Feather's hardly a bridge too far. Granted, we're talking a big and strong bantam who is a decent enough fighter, but "decent enough" skills and athleticism fall very short of ultra elite (which is Inoue's endowment on both fronts). We've seen nothing to suggest that Inoue is packing glass, so the idea that punchers a division or two up will all of a sudden affect him any more adversely is purely speculative and baseless. People have been projecting that Inoue's ceiling (and perhaps even "natural" weight class for his build once he grew into it) was featherweight for years anyway, some going as far as tipping him to pick up a belt at LW!
Inoue is too small. I remember people said before Chocolatito could move up all the weights and he ended up staying at super fly-weight. Firstly, Inoue needs to take care of business at 122. I want to see him against Akhmadaliev.
I wouldn't say Inoue is a big bantam. He's a pretty skinny guy and his frame isn't larger than his recent run of guys. Donaire looked like he was 2 divisions bigger in their showdown.
