How does Inoue`s performance here rate out of 10?

He had his skull cracked and his vision seriously impaired and went on to still win the fight convincingly with a knockdown.

How can you rate this as anything other than a 10/10?

Perhaps 9, can't give 10, as he was supposed to easily dominate and KO the faded and old man Donaire.

Great analysis. I can’t give him a 10/10 because he is prime and facing a much older guy. 9/10 for this one. Was impressed by his toughness and grit for fighting through serious injuries. Great performance by both guys. I also give Nonito a solid grade. Young Nonito would have probably put more pressure on Inoue after the big shots but he fought well for a guy with serious mileage on the odometer. Huge respect for both guys. Maybe my favorite fight of the year.

I'd be the first harsh judge. I would give him an 8.

He wasn't really the monster people keep talking about. The one that just destroys anything in it's path.Been saying for years this kid hasn't fought any tough challenges all his career. He was backing off and not the usual seek and destroy self.He is a methodical boxer not a destroyer.Hardly fights outside of Japan hope to see him in U.S.and enrolled in VADA.
Apart from the negativity. kid has a chin, heart, stamina and a warrior in the ring.
