Looks like they've tried to reinvent the wheel with Murata who looked like a man made for pressure fighting in the amateurs. I want the old Murata back!

    Round 4

Murata is putting together high jabs and descending rights in succession, penetrating Nicklow's tight face-guard with the former and knocking him back a step with the latter stuck on his belt line. Murata is trotting in circles to his right around Nicklow and opening up on the go without his feet set. Nicklow twirls and pokes at him with jabs and rights from a semi-crouch and high guard.

    10-9 Murata

    40-36 Murata

What are you nodding your head at? You basically denigrated this entire card and tried--pathetically so--to try and spin your way out of your original sentiments regarding all the fights I mentioned. You said that the main event tonight was the last great fight of the year and the bookies have Inoue as much as -1000 on betting sites. You sound like a fool for so many reasons.

    Round 5

Murata is doubling jabs on Nicklow's face and thumping him above the right hip with powerful hooks. Uppercut and hook combos stepping in by Murata. Nicklow gallops in with a short double pump-jab and high right hand, missing past Murata's neck. Murata steps out, drops his arms, and throws pot shot jabs at Nicklow.

    10-9 Murata

    50-45 Murata

I'm sitting here thinking "I think I recall this guy being good in the Olympics?!?!?"

He looks really, really bad right now tbh. There's no way this is a guy who was a successful amateur. He just looks all-around awful.

Murata cut by a clear headclash...then starts to look more like the Murata I enjoy :D

Not the worst pro transition in recent memory. John Joe Nevin looks abysmal in his pro debut, as have a few others.

He was a fantastic amateur, brought pressure, high guards and a lot of inside work...this was horrible until he got cut and looked like he was ****ed off.

    Round 6

Murata is cut on the left eye by a headbutt as Nicklow springs up at him inside off the rear heel, perhaps somewhat intentional. Murata is angered, throwing heavy power combos relentlessly on the front-foot now. Nicklow tries exploiting Murata's aggression with counter 1-2s but is forced to cede ground as Murata blasts at his head and whips his body rapidly.

    10-9 Murata

    60-54 Murata
