I'm almost tempted to sleep through this one. I'm not buying any of your, but, but, but what if this happens, nonsense. Paul Butler is garbage, and he's getting ****ing wrecked in epic fashion. That's the only intrigue this match holds for me, just how brutally will Inoue KO him.

Garbage he ain't. Butler put on a flawless performance against Sultan who isn't great, but he's a good fighter and he did son Casimero. Butler displayed excellent footwork, defense, counters, and his composure is to be commended.

My concerns have more to do with Inoue than Butler.

I don't like that he did heavy sparring in September. That could mean he's been training for close to 3 months, which means overtraining is a possibility here.

I don't like that he missed weight even though it was by less than half a pound. Plenty of fighters stay at a weight for one fight too long.

Inoue is under a lot of pressure not only to become the first undisputed Bantamweight champion in the 4 belt era, but to become the first Japanese guy to do it.

Yes, the gulf in class/skill is enormous, but certain things combined can make for a poor outing.

One decent performance against a clueless plodder doesn't erase all of the pisspoor performances against top tier fighters that preceded it.

Inoue could've been involved in a head on collision yesterday, and still KO this bum whenever and however he wants. Inoue is under no pressure whatsoever.

The biggest mismatch in Undisputed Boxing history has finally arrived! Butler has no chance in hell despite what stories @JOKER is trying to sell me..

This will truly be a massacre on 34th street rebooted:deal:

Would have been nice if Butler had actually won the title instead of just have the belt gifted to him. They might as well have just gifted it to Inoue.

He beat the guy who beat Casimero after Casimero pulled out for the interim. He's a rated contender and this isn't his first title reign. Literally any other fighter would get props for going for undisputed.

They say boxing is 90% mental. Butler didn't try to milk the title and hold the belt hostage. He went straight for the Monster. A guy that confident can be dangerous.
