This content is protected In just his FOURTH pro fight, Inoue took on future unified champ Ryoichi Taguchi. What a monster win! No record padding like these beta males running around in these boxing streets!
Very good win that aged well. Anyone who says Inoue doesn't have an active p4p top 3 resume is just exposing that they don't watch the weight classes below 130. You could draw a comparison between this win and Harada's win over Ebihara. They both beat a fellow japanese prospect early on in their careers and both victims went on to become world champions. Taguchi becoming unified at 108 and Ebihara knocking out a hall of famer in the first round to become undisputed champion at 112.
I don't get how you can call someone's resume weak when they've literally been in nothing but championship fights from their SIXTH PROFESSIONAL FIGHT on and knocked out FOUR #1 division ranked champions.
Again like I said it has to do with them not watching or paying attention to the lower weight classes. They don't know who these guys are and don't want to actually put in the time into researching why these are impressive wins. So they just say "He fought nothing but bums!." This isn't exclusive to lower weight class fighters, it also happens to those who fought in older eras. They don't know the era well so they just think the old fighter fought nobodies.
Inoue has improve so much since this fight. The skills, power, defense and technique of the modern Inoue are leaps and bounds better than this version of Inoue.
