Fulton must’ve been wearing some thick-ass-soled shoes yesterday, the height difference has noticeably decreased.

Coward? Am I missing something? Any instances you can reference to support such a claim?

I don't understand why an American showing concern about a foreign fighter putting tape directly on the skin is a ***** move. That's illegal, no commission would allow that. Hell it's illegal in amatuer boxing as well.

Except the Japanese commission literally does. As does Texas and Vegas. Tape on the knuckles is the no-no, putting a layer of tape on the gauze is a-okay in a lot of places because all it does is stabilize the wrist. It doesn't increase punching power in the slightest.

With no pre wrap I doubt it. Applying tape first directly to the skin is against regulations.

As it's already been proven, not only is it

    illegal, but it is

in Japan, Nevada (so all them big fights in Las Vegas you've never concerned yourself with regarding handwraps including the second superfight this week), and California. Like Team Fulton, you weren't educated on what's allowed and not allowed.

    Educate yourself.

As explained, it sounds like Inoue's more interested in protecting his hand and than trying to add impact benefits. Plus Inoue's only got 1 KO with "puncher's gloves" (Cleto-Reyes) in the Nonito rematch and the rest have come from "pillow" gloves (Winning). So the idea that Inoue is trying to gain an advantage and then wear Winning gloves which are known for being very cushioned is ludicrous.

Bull****. No fighter puts tape directly to the metacarpals in fights. That's how trinidad got caught, and pac was also accused of stacking as well. Stacking in most cases is not what stitch Duran said. Gauze tape gauze tape. In this case it's tape gauze tape gauze then 1 layer of tape 1 inch from the knuckles, which was the concern which is not allowed. Fultons team brought it up because it's not something their accustomed to, and rightfully so. In a fight this big everything needs to be checked.
