Unfortunately that's the way modern casual boxing fans think. They will find just about anything to pick holes to justify their displeasure towards certain fighters.

Inoue is a hype job. He frequently gets knocked down by unknown fighters.

yeah that’s silly. All the greats were knocked down at some point. Hell, Muhammad Ali was almost KO’d by Henry Cooper! Joe Louis was knocked down by Tony Galento! Lennox Lewis got KO’d by Oliver McCall!

    It’s boxing. **** happens.

He has shown the same flaw twice now. I think it's down to some over confidence and complacency on him and his teams part. That comes with success, question is will they learn from this before it costs him his 0. Even if it doesn't and he loses against Akhmadaliev or Ball or Nakatani, so what, great fighters lose, the 0 isn't everything. How he comes back from the loss is a truer sign of greatness than him simply steam rolling everyone.

I think he will lose at some point, simply because he isn't just hand picking opponents to keep his 0, he's looking to fight the best. Akhmadliev next, then Ball then Nakatani is a hard run of opponents, especially as it's back to back, no easy fights between. One off night and he loses. But that's what makes Inoue so great and so fun to watch, you know he isn't taking it safe.
