Naoya is a less technically sound Pretty Boy Floyd. But still very good/elite

Very good performance from him earlier today. But I just don't see PBF in this man. I just don't.

PBF in his prime was levels ahead of him. I like Inoue but come on!!!

PBF was much more devastating, much more technically sound and was just a beast on the up and up.

That's why Russia is banned from the Olympics in many sports.

So...what had Floyd done after 9 pro bouts?...Inoue has already beaten 3 either reigning or future champions..

Yeah but Inoue is half a decade away from his prime. To see what he's doing at his age is truly remarkable. Inoue has more power now than Floyd ever had and is arguably faster too. He can work on his technique, but from a raw ability point of view, he's as gifted as anyone who's laced them up.

Wilder has had a better resume than Inoue after 9 fights.

    Yeah no.

A 130 Mayweather was more powerful, much faster, much more technically sound. He's GOAT there for a reason.

Naoya is good, but he ain't no Money May.

Powerful - definitely not. Inoue is arguably one of the hardest punchers in all of Boxing p4p. Floyd was never known as a power puncher at any stage of his career. One does not simply move up two divisions and KO a guy who went 12 rounds with Nonito Donaire...but Inoue did that, in 2 rounds.

Faster - again the smaller the boxer, the more likely they're faster than guys bigger than them like Floyd. 90% of Flyweights today are faster than Floyd, Gamboa, Manny etc. It's just the way it is with smaller guys.

Technically sound, of course Floyd was better...in all honesty who can compete with Floyd technically. However considering Inoue's age, injuries and experience he's not too far off, which is telling of how great this guy is.

He knocked down a 39 year old Narvaez, Floyd took out the #4 p4p fighter at that time in Corrales.

    And MANY OTHERS

Floyd had great power at 130, no one could really take his shots at that weight class. None! :deal

Floyd's faster at 130 than Naoya at 115. Floyd was just ungodly fast at that weight class. Unbelievable.

    He's very far off.

He didn't just knockdown Narvaez, he destroyed him. It took Floyd 7 rounds to KD Corrales, it took Inoue seconds. Go figure.

To put it into perspective, Floyd, in fight #9 fought Jesus Chavez (no not the good one) and took 5 rounds to stop him, inflicting his 12th stoppage defeat. Inoue just blitzed a mandatory challenger in 2 rounds.

At that point Mayqeathwr was 0-0 in world title bouts,Inoue is 4-0 (4), and the record holder for the fewest fights to become a 2 weight world champion. He was 21 when he set that record in fight #8.

Mayweather claimed his first world title in fight #18, and wasn't a 2 weight world champion until fight #28. He was 25-at the time.

Inoue also completely skipped a division as he couldn't be ****d waiting for Reveco...who incidentally fought a guy Inoue BATTERED in his test bout

No one can deny that Inoue has one of the very best careers in history for anyone under 10 fights. Yes, better than the cab drivers Mayweather fought.

But, let's reserve judgement in regards to Inoue - he has elements in his game to develop.
