I think Napa has just had enough, realised he's not what he was a few years ago when he would have dominated this calibre of opponent. He just gave up, I think he may well retire.
Spot on in my opinion. He's already massive in Sunderland and I can easily imagine that he has a load of hangers-on around him and telling him he's doing great when there is huge room for improvement.
Gave up when there were 4 rounds left and he dominated the last couple of rounds easily looking the stronger man with more in the tank? Sorry, there was something really strange about that. If he was in a really tough frenetic fight I'd understand it a little more, if he was getting hit a lot I'd understand it more, if he looked injured or as if he was really struggling I'd understand it more. He looked about as good as he had done in that round.
Napa threw that, hope it was worth it. makes a mockery of guys who have left everything in the ring in bouts.
yup lost the same amount ! .... thought 4/6 Napa was a good price but then he quits atsch Somethings not right - i cant remember ever seeing a guy quit when hes strong in the fight and winning ! ..... if he was dead on his feet maybe i could reason with his decision but he was boxing well.... something should be done - boxing really does let itself down at times and bad decisions are just swept under the carpet .... as i said before im sticking to world title fights from now on ; **** the domestic stuff it seems corrupt at times !
Napa could have at least made a better excuse like "Spinal" or "I hurt my shoulder" rather than "It was too hot" ****ing glad I didn't bet on it now
How can it be too hot when the hall's almost empty and Peterlee is hardly Las Vegas? Something is very definitely going on - that's two consecutive fights Napa has been long odds on going into the final rounds and lost.
Well I lost money but he has to live with that **** if he took a bung. ****ing shady, napa can **** off if he thinks I will watch him again.
