Napoles-Duran/Conteh-Monzon in 1975 were being discussed. Who wins?

    I think Conteh would have beaten Monzon by decison. He was probably as good technically and his size would neutralize some of the physical advantages Monzon enjoyed at 160 lbs.

    Agreed. I'd give Arguello no chance against Duran: Similar to what I said regarding the hypothetical match-up between Hearns and Trinidad, here Arguello doesn't really even have a puncher's chance, because Duran wasn't susceptible of being one-punched by smaller guys. (I generally find the frequent comparison between Arguello and Hearns hilarious in this context: Hearns is much bigger so hits exponentially harder in absolute terms; Hearns is actually faster than Duran and is unorthodox, whereas Arguello's hand and feet are stuck in mud and is robotic.)

    On Duran v. Benitez: Indeed. I think Duran of Montreal or prior beats Benitez.
