I think Frampton would beat naz, if he could take his punch.

Yeah I agree but neither would Frampton or Warrington. They'd get destroyed by Hamed too.

    I lol’ed

But as to Naseem’s comments, as much as I despise him and his ego and as happy as I was when Barrera beat him, he’s probably right.

I don’t think Warrington and Frampton could’ve succeeded in the Morales/MAB/Pac/JMM era to be honest.

    Like ‘em both though.

    LOL @ Frampton beating Hamed.

    Naz would have killed Frampton.

He takes out Warrington no problem but him and Frampton would be a good fight.

On is game I thought he could KO Barrera, the other 3 yeah, cant see an angle, but had the power to shake any of them up.. Barrera had had his loses in his career and had rebuilt and comeback determined and disciplined against Hamed...Hamed on the other hand had fell in love with his power and was not willing to sacrifice anymore like a true champ and no discipline training determination etc

I think everyone could beat Naz if they could take his punch, thing is its a big ask on form because you have his angles too to contend with. The angles he could generate power from was shocking, but fundamentally he was flawed bad

You mean like how Wayne McCollough could easily take his punch or Cesar Soto took his punch? Wonder how Naz won those as clearly according to you he was just some puncher who couldn't box for sh.it.

Hamed could box, yes he had fundamental flaws, but so did RJJ and Muhammad Ali but nobody questions their boxing skills. Hamed was more than just some puncher, he was an elusive counter puncher, most people couldn't lay a glove on him.

Yes some fighters definitely gave him problems when he stepped up. Kevin Kelley being an obvious one, before Hamed's power bailed him out. Barrera of course beat him but it wasn't a shut out, Hamed clearly lost but it wasn't as one sided as some like to think it was and of course this was Barrera a great, great fighter who until Pac came along was the best in the division with Morales.

I don't like this rotherham produced child, but he is right, he'd dance rings around these two on the same night and make them miss so bad they'd be hitting eachother while trying to land on Naseem.

I was exaggerating a little..I'm one of very few that thinks prime Naz KO's Barrera as great as MAB was. The Kelley fight showed how sloppy Naz had become imo, he wasn't on point anymore. Definitely a fighter that deteriorated when he left someone that that had molded him into that style, same with Hatton and Graham imo, it was their style, 9/10 it unravels what made them successful when they move, other trainers as great as they maybe just cant really do anything with an Ingle trained (from grass roots) style. I firmly believe Brendan Ingle would've been 10x better for Naz than Manny Steward was at that stage

Ya Naz was convincingly beat by MAB. MAB would have castrated Frampton though and fed him his own dick.

I get the feeling that those picking Frampton over Naz are newer fans who only know of his loss to Barrera and haven't seen much of the mid 90s Naz.

And even conceding the Barrera loss, Barrera is a great. What in TF is Carl Frampton? Nothing.

Franpton would lose to every... single elite featherweight in history.
