JMMs footwork and timing against the unorthodox unpredictable power of Naz

Having seen JMM dropped a few times I'm learning towards Naz by KO as he really could dig... But does he walk onto something as he lunges in. Or does JMM do a Barerra on the Prince.

JMM could be dropped early, but he was never stopped. He would get dropped by Hamed early, survive, then proceed to box Hamed's huge ears off. The only fighter Hamed ever fought that was remotely as good as Marquez was Barrera. And Marquez was an intelligent counterpuncher, kryptonite for someone of Hamed's limited boxing IQ.

Im a huge Naz fan but JMMs fundamentals (and toughness) are a bad match up for Naz and see JMM by UD

    Hamed to Ko Marquez.

Marquez gets hit alot and Hamed had legit fight ending power.

Marquez, although good boxer with good fundamentals very rarely fought a smart fight. His over aggression will get him knocked out.

I imagine it would be similar to Nas vs. Barrera.

I’m backing Naz. There’s no reason why a focused Nas can’t do a little better better than Norwood, who shared similarities and got the W (controversially).

Marquez generally lacked confidence and experience at 126.

He could get dropped but JMM had amazing recovery. He was very skilled and intelligent boxer too, although sometimes got into crazy brawls. JMM by UD is my guess

Marquez would absolutely batter Hamed. A terrible match up for styles for Hamed and it makes you realize one of the very real reasons Hamed likely chose to retire when he did... the landscape of boxing around featherweight was suddenly transformed and full of absolute killers almost all in or close to their respective primes.

    Hamed .

Marquez got better as he moved up but at 126 I think his chin would be too fragile .

    Hamed hit so so hard.
