We are talking about BEST version vs Best Version of each fighter...at a catch weight or at 122 just so long as both are in their respective "Primes". And MAB didn't need a "A+" game plan to outbox Naz...the way he won and how dominant MAB was, Marco could have put on a C- preformance and still won a UD.

Pacquiao by knockout, early, no ****ing doubt about it. People saying whoever hits chin 1st wins are being very obtuse. Pac has power and was raw earlier in his career, but with Freddie Roach's help he has developed into an excellent all-round boxer with a good defence. How else could he compete evenly with a skilled fighter like JMM for 12 high quality rounds earlier this year? Hamed had amazing speed and power, but he was out of his depth at this level, he never had the all-round skills, technique or defence. No way can Hamed win this one.

Id pick Manny by KO, but Naz has the ability to turn the fight around with one single punch so i wouldnt ever count him out. But either way this fight would end in a K.O :hey

It's a lot better than it was and a lot better than Hamed's.

How many times has Pacquiao been knocked down in 7 fights with JM Marquez, Erik Morales and Marco Antonio Barrera?

Gotta go with NAZ on this one. Pac has obviously a much better career than Naz but I can't see him avoiding those left hand bombs.
Also a lot of people seem to be allowing their (quite understandable) hatred of Naz to cloud their judgement somewhat. No problem with people picking Pac as its a bloody close fight to pick but easy KO?
Naz has been down a few times but thats due to poor balance and his great risktaking style. He's never remotely looked like getting stopped.

Overrated Hamed is schooled more comprehensively than he was against MAB leading to a late stoppage

People who back Naz are overlooking the fact he fought 1 great fighter in his entire career and was beaten comprehensively. Pac beat peak Barrera in '03, stopped Morales, and went 24 rounds with JMM split by 1 point. The guy has proved beyond all doubt he is genuine class. Hamed dancing around while battering a loser like Steve Robinson or struggling manfully with Kevin Kelley and Augie Sanchez proves he was nothing but a pretender. All style, no substance.

It was a good performance by MAB and he did need to stay on his toes and avoid the power shots. If MAB came in underprepared and sloppy he would have been KOed.

I think people seriously are underestimating Hamed... I think based on the fact that they are looking at their whole body of work in which Pac blows not only Hamed but alot of HOF fighters aswell.

If its really prime for prime..it will be closer than people think..Id say Hamed pre MAB and PAC at 126. Pac at 122 was freakishly fast but was all over the place. I can see Hamed countering him when he juts in and out.

I do see Pac outlanding Hamed...he was just a busier fighter and I believe he had a more durable chin at 126-130. I can actually see Hamed going down at least 5 times in this fight just based on his being off balance and keeping his hands low. If nice guy Kevin Kelley had naz down a few times in what? 4 rounds...then it will be a long night for him against Pac unless of course he catches Pac coming in... Id still be a little doubtful if he knocks Pac out..hes not a great body puncher and Pac has never been Koed by head shots I believe

It's not GREAT but its good. He's faught sharp shooters like JMM, EM and MAB and the only fight where PAC was getting hit too much was early on with his fight with EM and JMM....since then he's showed emmense improvement on his Defense.

Styles make fights mate. This would be a high risk fight for Pac. Whilst Naz could sometimes fight like a clown he was without doubt one of the hardest p4p punchers in boxing history and Pac is no Willie Pep.
I have no doubt that Pac is the better fighter but this is a nasty style for him to face.

Of course...But MAB isn't one to come in to any fight unprepared or sloppy. He's a very good technical boxer.....Naz was very unorthodox which gave many of his oppoents fits....His POWER was what made his opposition hesitant b/c Naz had some real power, but his skills and technique were not there.....he had talent that's for sure but Kevin Kelly was his toughest opponent aside from Marco....and the only reason why Kevin lost was b/c he was trying to BANG with Naz who definitley had more power...if Kevin BOXED he would have beaten Naz as MAB was able to do.
