Very arrogant post that. And completely wrong as well. Prime Hamed has at least has a punchers chance even if you believe his is far inferior to Prime Pacquiao.
naz will never beat the best version of Pac. the skillfull pac post 2005 would murder prime hamed. the pre-2005 pac would be a 50/50 fight.
He didn't have a puncher's chance v Barrera, and prime Pacquiao utterly dominated peak Barrera. And Pac is even better now.
naz isn't too far gone when he met barrera. barrera was the more beaten fighter actually before the fight because his carreer was rugged to say the least. but still he outclassed naz.
Yeah, that's why the best performance of his career against the best opponent he faced before Barrera came only one year before the MAB fight. Re-writing history are we? Go do some reading on his opponents and actually watch the Bungu fight before commenting, you look silly.
Such arrogance  The Bungu fight he was expectional, I remember standing up clapping like a fool in my lounge when he landed that left hand. Anyway, I'm not talking about him physically gone but mentally. He didn't give a toss by the Barrera fight, all his desire for the sport and his attitude was all wrong and he thought he could wade in and rely solely on power to win fights and that doesn't work against an ATG like Barrera. I'm not saying that he would have definitely beat Barrera but a prime and focused Naseem Hamed is more than a match for him, same goes for Pacquiao.
nope, he again, he wasn't too far gone when he fought barrera. prime hamed would still get outclassed by barrera.
He wasnt finished no, but he wasnt 100% there. the **** with the gloves, the ring entrance, the jump over the ropes, falling out with manny during training. But it was all his own fault so i dont have sympathy for him. MAB showed what a great he is, not brawling with Naz but Boxing his head off. Everything Naz expected to happen fell apart as did he.
Sorry, but it's all too easy for fans to say someone is "gone" after they lose. He wasn't gone when he destroyed Bungu in a career-best performance, and he wasn't gone a year later when the bell rang against Barrera, when Hamed realized he had wasted his career for not building on his natural gifts and that there was nothing he could do to stop the beating.
I'm with you on this one. I was a fan of Hamed's showmanship, he brought a lot of excitement. But it was plain to see that he was flawed even before the Barrera fight. Pacquiao takes this fight. Probably even stops Hamed due to excessive punishment. To those saying he wasn't focused and was already looking to leave boxing before this fight, just look at his POST-fight comments. He said something along the lines of "it's only my first loss in 36 fights, like a true warrior I WILL return". He also said he wanted a rematch. And he went on to have another fight in an attempt to make a comeback. He was great at what he did, but it was a style mismatch with Barrera and would also be against Pac.
Hamed has a great chance in this fight. Pacquaio is definitely the sort of guy I could see him catching with an unorthodox shot that he can't see.
