Hamed takes Guzman's head clean off. The guy would be running scared after he felt the Princes power. Nas would toy with him (including dancing around whilst Guzman shits his pants) then, when he chooses to...a Sanchez style finish to end the bout. Nas might even let Guzman hit him a couple of times, if he is in a good mood. A great entrance would also be on the cards :deal
I saw this a few times Lester a bit torn on 2 of my fave fighters, in terms of pure natural talent both had greater potential than even Mayweather perhaps 2 fast counter punchers with great balance, Guzman is more foundamentally sound, significantly taller and rangier. Hamed the bigger puncher, looked to force the exchange where Guzman above 122 was more a pure boxer, conversely Hamed more the pure boxer below 126 Hamed was a different boxer before and after he became champion. Earlier in his career he had a much more balanced game, using Bomber Graham type movement in and out controlling range, combined with much more feinting, but much more switching out of stances, quicker, threw in combination, countered better. Later on he became stronger and hence his power became even greater but his overall game suffered as he came to rely on it Guzman would beat the version MAB beat, he'd beat MAB too actually and Morales. Hamed beats MAB earlier in his career, him and Morales would be an epic war too as Morales would not be content to sit on the back foot and counter like MAB and would leave more openings which Hamed exploits Prime for prime, I'm not sure, I think I'll lean toward Hamed. Actually I've been waiting for your input I don't know if I'd go that far but both had excellent potential, that's for sure. But neither had the discipline (and maybe the right trainers) to truly develop their talents. Who had the better chin though? I've seen Guzman hurt but he was fighting bigger men and already was on the decline. I don't remember Hamed being seriously hurt - his knockdowns usually came from getting caught in an awkward stance (balance?). And who had the better defense? Hamed usually liked to leave himself wide open. But his brutal power kept opponents at bay and they couldn't capitalize on Hamed's low guard. On the other hand in some of his fights Guzman demonstrated very good defense. Maybe too much defense without quality offense. Locche-like stuff. And Guzman's offense in some of his fights wasn't impressive - sloppy, looping punches without much power. Yes, most likely. Younger more reckless Barrera that fought Junior Jones? Not many would support this opinion. But personally I can see Guzman giving Barrera and Morales all kinds of trouble. True. But Morales had a great chin and his right hand is a very good weapon against hands down at his waist-southpaw Hamed. Ike? Tough fight to call, isn't it? I like Guzman better. Him being naturally the bigger man, more technically sound and with comparable speed is what sways my opinion in favour of Guzman. But the judges will give this fight to Hamed no matter what slick moves Guzman pulls out in the fight Nobody likes sloppy defensive featherfisters! Especially if they bring no money to the table.
