I think Hamed is kind of underrated now if anything because of that Barrera fight. From the busted hands, the loss of focus to the split with Ingle, Hamed wasn't simply the same fighter he was when coming up and now people think to some degree he was a fraud when in reality he was legit elite at the weight. But having said that I think prime Barrera beats any version of Hamed. Young Barrera the one who used to get into wars, Hamed could beat but the polished version we would see later in his career from a style perspective was all wrong for Hamed. Barrera's jab would always find it's mark as Hamed makes a cardinal sin for a southpaw which is dropping his lead hand. Barrera will always jab over the top of Hamed's jab. Barrera's control of distance too, the way he stays on the edge of range but doesn't reach in giving Hamed chances to counter and the way he moves laterally to take away Hamed's use of weird angles. Then finally Barrera's speed and timing, it spells doom for any version of Naz. Personally I think Inoue shares enough in common with Barrera, namely the fantastic jab, the speed, the control of distance, the timing and accuracy to come out on top vs Hamed.
We're not talk about Donaire, we're talking about Inoue. You definitely don't want me to go through the losses of Naz's to opponents.
What's GGG got to do with this? When have I ever said GGG was shot? He might be shot now, but I've never claimed he was shot for Canelo (which you're no doubt getting at).
Yep he beat the old Man...But it proves he was not as invincible as people made out....Barrera proved that regardless of the excuses.!!!
