Saldivar by a 117-110 decision. Hamed probably gets dropped along the way as the fight progresses. Gives a good effort and hangs tough but is just outclassed by El Zurdo de Oro
Saldivar’s patience and ability to figure out the best way to beat his man would be tested here, as Hamed wasn’t the kinda’ guy to give up patterns. Seki had success against Saldivar, so there’s definitely a chance he gets stung early on. Hamed is exactly the kind of fighter to throw off the Mexican’s radar. I’ll give Saldivar the nod though; technically proficient, intelligent, and with a 15-round engine, he’d get his timing down as the rounds went on and win a decision that remains riveting to the end due to Hamed’s power and unorthodoxy, but stops being actually competitive after 5 or 6.
I see this fight as the featherweight equivalent of Chavez-Rosario...with Saldivar taking everything Hamed had and battering him to a pulp....stopping him by the 13th by tko.
Not his fault, red, let's not stand in judgementness. I mean, he's the alter -ego of Captain Buggernuts, the Masked Bumcake Avenger for crying out loud. That's worse than being Ted Bundy with a glass eye, especially when the sex with hedgehogs makes the one good eye water all the time.
