    Of a comeback?

The mans only 35-36, certainly not that old by boxing standards.

I have a hard time believing a man who spends money like he has/the arrogance he has would not at least take a few more fights before calling it a day.

He certainly isn't that shopworn, never had his ass kicked that bad.

    Thoughts?

If you have a fat joke, get the **** out and be ashamed of yourself for being a general forum douche bag.

Not a fat joke but the man is seriously out of shape and at his age I just cant see him getting boxing fit again. I mean hes been out of the game what? Seven years. His whole style was based on reflexes and agility, something he wont have now, you just have to look at how Jones Jr is currently performing. He'd have to change his whole style and I cant see that.

He won't come back. He's been going on about it for years, and each time it turned out to be rubbish. He's COMPLETELY out of shape (in comparison to his former self, it's actually appalling) and his speed will have faded long ago. If he was going to come back, he should have stayed on after beating Calvo -- he missed his chance, went into a retirement-sulk, and thus that's the end of that. A pity, because I think he had more potential than his career indicates.

No chance he was a nobody proved that way against MAB, had a good punch for a featherweight, good chin but was very average as given a lesson by MAB. He can never come back neither should hatton, 2 over hyped fighters that would not win a square go in a chip shop

This is not a fat joke, but he would absolutely never be able to get back down to Featherweight. Maybe welterweight at the least and he'd have no business being there size-wise. There's just no way. Not successfully. He'd kill himself getting down to a weight befitting his frame and I doubt he'd have anything left once he got there.

  8. 35-36 is old for an inactive fighter. And when you get to that age, your experience and boxing SKILL is what gets you to and out of the later rounds.

Naseem took every rule out of the boxing handbook and shat on it. If he were to come back for a fight (would never happen) I'm pretty sure the handbook would take a giant **** on him.

Well, it would be no joke to say he needs some training to even make light-heavyweight. The man has to be 180 pounds or more.

    No chance of a comeback.

Part of the reason Hamed never came back was after taking a year out he blew up and didnt fancy training back down to 126

The man had £100million (160million dollars) in the bank by all accounts and after the MAB loss and Sep 11th wasnt offered the same type of paydays and sponsorship again

This. He's out of shape, seven-years of ring-rust and as mentioned, he'd have to change his style. It was all based on speed, power & reflexes. It's unlikely any have remained; even though power is the last thing to go he'd not have the speed to deliver it with the venom he did. He never had the technique that he could drop back on now either. That's the trouble with being an Ingle fighter, career's are generally short-lived because it's all based on the physical & unorthodox rather than the technical aspect, and once the speed and mobility starts going, then there's big trouble.

The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long, and Hamed burned so very brightly for the time he was on top. Too bad he didn't have the internal makeup to really come back from a loss. He certainly had the physical ability to do so, for one decision loss to an all time great in Barrera is nothing to feel ashamed about.
