Totally agree, he didnt have the style to compete with an upper level technical boxer. A pure boxer with a good chin was his worst nightmare.

Gets beaten up by MAB again in the rematch, KO'd by Morales, JMM takes a 120-108 decision, then he gets brutally crushed by Pacquiao and retires.

I'm glad people are now more realistic about Hamed, it took a while for him to be seen for what he truly is; good but nowhere near great.

lacked the skills to compete at the truly elite level. poor basics, and relied on his freaky power to get him out of trouble too many times. and to lose basically once and call it a day i thinks speaks much about his love for the game.

he would have Knocked Pac Man out, who said he ducked JMM? it was actually Marquezs team who turnd him down. Him and Morales would have been 50/50 fight
what most people seem to forget is that
    a) Hamed was already badly declining when he fought MAB, Augie Sanchez was schooling him until he got caught.
    b) secondly MAB changed his style and fought a smart fight against Hamed.

People seem to either forget this, or just sweep it under the carpet.

He had a six-fight deal with HBO. There was no "could have been" about it, Naz very much "was" a PPV attraction both in the UK and US.

A glass jawed brit beating the current pound for pound best, 8 time world champion and an ATG?

When Barrera destroyed Hamed and Pac you know what happen to Marco

People who claim this do nothing but prove their ignorance.

JMM was the #1 contender for ONE of Hamed's belts (Hamed had three at the time, and had beaten the WBA champ). But JMM wasn't a world titlist. He wasn't P4P elite. He had just lost to Freddie Norwood and was basically an unknown. The idea that Naz ducked JMM because JMM was some unbeatable monster and fought Barrera instead of total bollocks.

A myth perpetuated by people who don't know any better.

Hamed suffered nothing more than a couple of flash knockdowns in his entire career. He was never KO'd, never hurt. Yet you think he had a "glass jaw"? That's an interesting theroy.

Hamed won four rounds against Barrera, suffered no KD's and wasn't hurt at any stage. Hardly a "destruction". Unless you've taken it upon yourself to change the meaning of the word and forgot to tell everyone else. :good

Was Manny Pacqioau, pound for pound, 8 time world champion and an ATG at FEATHWERWEIGHT? No he wasnt.

Hamed knocks Pac Man out, Barerra fought a smart fight to beat a declining Hamed, Pac man with his **** all defence would KTFO.

You need to stop masturbating to the current Pac Man, and think about what he was like at FEATHERWEIGHT, which is where they would have fought.

Oh yeah and Pac Man has been Ko'd 3 times, whereas Hamed had one decision loss....so going by that logic, who really has the glass jaw?

He left too early, he was only around 26 I guess. I didn't know his hands were mass.

I thought he had been a favourite over Barrera that was a huge upset. I think a 1998 version of Hamed had the power and speed to KO anybody at 126. But out of the Pacquiao-Morales-Marquez-Barrera arguably he would have lost to all of them. Perhaps the early version of Pacquiao with his pretty one-sided style could be clear target for Hamed's enormous power but that stands also for Hamed's chin against Pac's left.

I think Barerra might always have beaten him, due to MAB being the smarter fighter and maybe having his number, but its also Hameds fault as well for firing his trainer, especially for a unique style such as his, Relying on one punch to end the fight, silk pajama syndrome, he became much more predicatble by the time he fought Barerra and still went the distance.....
Actually i think Hamed beats all 4 of them in his prime.

Morales is the war we missed out on. What a damn shame, it would have been 50/50 for me

JMM and Pac Man get KTFO.

No you need to stop living from the past and understand what is currently happening. Would've, could've should've. And Hamed is finish and after 1 lost he quit and retire and he is history now while Pacquiao is on top

    Just think about that

Past is past it's finished, I know it hurts you and I understand you like to bring up Hamed and make it look like he is relevant still but you know that's not happening :D

After this post, im not going to reply to you anymore, i only just realised how stupid you actually are. :patsch

Oh and btw, Pacman isnt on top, its that slick black dude hes ducking. Whats his name? Mayweather or something.

Pac just beat a guy, who was out for a year or two and struggled to get past a bum in his previous fight, and before that he was owned by a guy who Mayweather took to school recently.

    Pac+Roach= smoke and mirrors
