Yup.Dunno if Kevin was washed up,but he defo was way past it as he'd by stopped once and drawn with twice 2 1/2 years going into the Hamed fight.I wonder what a prime Kevin would have done had they fought.
I love how Hamed fans brag about that victory even though Kevin had been stopped once and drawn with twice in the 2 1/2 years leading up to the fight.Imagine how the Hamed fans would have reacted had Kevin been a great fighter and not past it going into that one
Of course. Prime NAZ is capable of beating anyone on his day at those weights, he was good enough and he had the tools.
I just checked Box Rec, this was Kelley's 50th fight and he was the wrong side of 30. I think it's fair to say he was at least a little past prime.
Maybe, maybe not. It's just a shame Naz never learned the fundamentals at the Wincobank because he could have been truly special.
the prince's flaws were exposed long before this fight. kevin kelly was a helluva fighter not at his best but definitely not washed up. he was still high caliber though...and he had nazim...he just got careless like most of them did. i gave the man his props because he had a very good run. there is no shame in losing to a hof'er like barrera.
Then it's a good thing Uzzy stepped up to show Naz how it's done! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJPesST-skg[/ame]
