The whole fight is on YouTube, quality is not great, here's the first part for anyone who is interested: YouTube - ????vs????? part 1 Nobuo Nashiro vs Konosuke Tomiyama Nashiro looks anything but polished, but of course he isn't, he's only boxed 13 times! A world champion after 12 fights, that's not to shabby, I hope you're watching Amir ****ing Khan...anyway, he doesn't look polished, but he showed real gumption in this fight, he has heart and he kept so cool for a novice. Coming of the canvas twice to beat Tomiyama, who is a tidy boxer with a good jab and a 2 reach inch advantage and a 3 inch height advantage is an achievment. Fair play. Nashiro also seems to have decent power in his straight righ which is part of a tidy one-two and a decent left hook. The bad news is he is chinny, though his recovery is decent and he's never been stopped in his handful of outings. I think he's interesting, and if he can continue to make weight (i thought he looked pretyt comfortable?). Any of you boys interested in this guy? What do you make of him?
Jesus, there is no way you could put him in with Darchinyan right now. But I wouldn't put many inexperienced guys in with a man like that, to be fair.
While the fight itself was good, Nobuo was floored twice by a guy who was not considered to be a puncher. I'd stay as far away from Vic as I possibly could.
