I like Gamboa but he's been on the cupboard too long..

against Naz? oh man, this isn't good for the cuban at all.

Its would be just as risky for Naz as it is for Gamboa...Gamboa showed a couple flaws before but not recently... MIght come to who connects first or who has the better chin... Naz proved a good chin vs Barrera,,, Dont think Gamboas chin is bad but dont know if its good either.

I was always a big Hamed fan back in the day, so I'll admit I'm biased in my decision. But I really like Gamboa a lot. Perhaps down the road after seeing more fights and how he performs, I will revisit this discussion.

Hamed remains one of my favorite fighters ever, but I think Gamboa is special. I'm talking about once-in-a-generation type of special.

I think their chins are comparable, and I'd give the edge to Hamed in terms of power. But Gamboa's speed is what stands out and is what I think would make the difference in the fight.

WHy do you think his chin is equal? Salido is the only world class guy with power that tested it. I think the jury is still out.

Hamed went down a few times but he proved his chin was good when gettng nailed by good punchers like Augie Sanchez,Kelly and Barrera,

Gamboa has already faced some very good opposition up to this point, and I've seen him hurt only once, early on in his career against Jimenez, and it wasn't too bad. I don't think Sanchez and Kelly were as good of punchers you paint them to be either.

Well kelly wasnt ko artist or one punch guy but he was an above avergae puncher.

Barrera no ko artist,, but had good power.

As for Augie no way that dude could bang, at the time he was definitely one of the biggest punchers pfp in boxing i followed him on the wayup and he had some highlight relel kos,he hurt Naz worst than anyone...Good technichally too,,kid good have gone a longway, but unfortunately his chin was made of glassand he suffered some violent kos, Capabl of knocking out topguys but could also get kod by a tomato can....Talented enough to beat Mayweather in the Olympic trials.

As for Gamboas opposition? Yeah Jiminezi is solid fighter but a gate keeper at best i wouldnt consider him a legit contender... Salido gavehim atough fight and although scorin a knockdown, i dont recall him testing Gamboas chin the way Hamed was against those i mentioned.

Hamed would take advantage of Gamboa's lack of defense. I think HAmed would stop Gamboa.
