Taylor did nothing wrong, if you're to reach world level then you need that bit of spite.

When the going hot tough OD bottled it.

Very rarely would a fighter be disqualified for that, Taylor was almost shouting at Davies when he was pinned in the corner, he knew he quit and after all the trash talk, he simply didn't back it up. DQ's are more associated with hitting whilst on the floor and after the bell. Maybe a Mills Lane would have possibly DQ Taylor but still unlikely.

According to a strict interpretation of the rules a guy who ignores the ref and does what he did CAN be DQ'd.

The cheap shot from behind AND the follow up attack involving barging the ref IS sufficient for a DQ.

I thought Foster was really good in reffing this fight, let it flow and It was quality when he told them to stop talking and fight.

One thing you should never forget in a boxing ring

    "Protect yourself at all times"

There was no fouling last night

Was very amateurish of OD to turn his back

Haven't you gathered by now everyone thinks you're wrong.

OD quit simple and turned his back making out he had an eye issue it was a way of not getting KO'd IMO.

Agree totally. Thuggish evil behaviour. The man was done - no need to keep smashing him up. JT is the sort of guy who would stamp on a mans head while he was down or keep hitting someone unconscious. Pathetic and took the shine off a brilliant performance

There was a clear foul - the rules say stop punching when the ref steps in. JT did not. He kept swinging and swearing at OD while the ref was trying to break them up. Issa clear foul.

After the knockdown the ref should poison himself right beside the two boxers. Poised to intervene if necessary. But foster didn't do that, did he? Foster went walkabout. Walked off BEHIND JT back. Realised he was caught out of position and frantically rushed back to rugby tackle JT, who kept swinging and swearing in a nasty thuggish, and totally illegal, fashion.

Ref botched the ending of the fight. Had JT harmed OD there would have been serious trouble for foster. He got away with it and you could see he was relieved. He knew he was wrong.

Protect yourself at all times. He turned his back why didn't he just take a knee say ref am done? Taylor took advantage like any pro would maywether vs Ortiz anyone ? Some blaming ref. He went down he can't just stand way all Night he has let them engage again he took one more shot didn't fancy it wasn't even a clean shot he Should took a knee or said to the ref wen back up am done
