Just watched a program about her on sky she comes across as a decent person.Hope she gets a deserved rematch with Terri Harper sometime in the new year
I haven't watched it yet but I will. If I'm honest I never liked her at the start, when she first came on the scene, I don't like all that Team GB stuff, it's over done and over used, I couldn't get past all that and focus on the person and fighter. A little bit like DeGale, Khan, Harrison and many others that go through the Team GB route. Maybe it's the hype, maybe it's what I perceive as unfair and preferential treatment, especially with referees, judges, platforms and media. That's my problem, I'm aware of it and I do try to get over that but it's hard, some people come across as just unlikeable and arrogant and combined with what I see as preferential treatment I sort of root for their opponents. But, that said, she's grown on me over the years, I have tried to look past my bias, she always seems rather positive, happy, smiley, she seems like a really nice person and she can fight, I'm not a huge women's boxing fan but she is at the top end, she's proved that. So I wish her no ill will and I hope she succeeds and gets her hands on a world title, she deserves a rematch with Harper and I think she'd have a great chance in that.
