Natasha Paula Jonas vs. Lauren Price & Caroline Sara Dubois vs. Bo Mi Re Shin RBR.

I must admit that was the first womens bout I've actually sat through its entirely ( probably only because Lauren was fighting ) but it was fought at a decent pace and both girls were a credit to the sport imo .

Lauren's a female force and a half, Josey.

Her best is definitely yet to come i think.

Tonight I'm absolutely sure she could have pushed it and finished Jonas early.

 

The way that jonss girl had zero defence of the right hook im surprised she didn't but fair goes to the scouser she showed heart in a lop sided fight she knew she was losing badly .

Yeah you could see it before the end of the first how it was going to go. The body language alone from both spoke volumes.


Lauren's got unused gears though. She'll stretch her legs in due course.

 

They really should use The Royal Hall more for boxing, like they used to in the past.It is a great venue and there seemed to be a good atmosphere there tonight

 

It holds about 5k peeps, Noel. So it's good for intermediate bouts and crowds

Like you say, though. It's a legendary and historical venue for many things.

I once, personally, held a professional pickpockets seminar there.... I absolutely filled the place and cleaned up on ticket sales of around 5k.
plus, ironically , I had my young lads remove the wallets of the seminar goers too....
