I didn’t watch many of her fights because I’m not really a weirdo so I couldn’t tell you but I’d root for a normal, down to earth woman than the sorts I mentioned above any day.

I know she was going to retire years ago but has been well managed to get to winning all sorts. Heard she was lucky in one or two but was defo robbed in one or two.

i had the boxing on for about half an hour last night. McKenna and Eubank was dreadful and saw a bit of Dubois. I didn't see any of Jonas. She's probably one of my least favourite people in boxing. It seems like any woman who has a bit of money behind them with a big promotion will get their shot with at least one of the belts. It's like a merry go round where everybody gets their shot to call themselves a world champion for the rest of time.

Women's boxing needs to be cancelled. Why the fck is money being poured into a 3rd fight between Taylor and Serrano. They literally just stroke and pat each other for 12 rounds and come off looking all battered, bruised and bloody like they've been punched by men. That money could go to actual mens boxing.

None of these women can crack an egg. They become undisputed after 2 fights. The whole thing is a massive joke that needs to end now.

You've got that embarrassment Claressa Shields talking about how she's the greatest female of all time. She's fought 16 times and somehow undisputed in 5 divisions with only 3 knockouts. Making a mockery of the sport to allow women compete in it.

To be fair Taylor and Serrano's first fight was decent. Agree with everything else and find it asinine that they're having a trilogy. There should be a law where if it's 2-0 you're not allowed a trilogy no matter what

She is very beautiful and after her boxing career she has a big future in television. There will be lots of offers.

It’s bizarre. It’s the only money fight for both of them so you can see why, but there’s every chance Taylor will lose this time and Serrano will claim a “trilogy win” despite being 2-1 down. What then?

Pacman v JMM 4 was made after 1 draw and 2 Pacman wins. The 4th fight and destructive win for JMM meant everything.

Fair point. And I know there's an argument that Serrano should have won both the fights so far, so there's an element of "third time lucky" about it as a promotion.

I think it just exposes the fact there aren't any other 'money' fights in women's boxing. For supposed trailblazers it doesn't say much for the depth underneath. The new Olympians coming through like Price, couldn't draw flies even with the Sky machine behind them.

Yep and that is a huge issue. There just isn't the depth of talent. MMA has this issue as well but there talent pool is way deeper than women's boxing.

Another thing is I am not sure how long of a career a women can have at it's peak fighting at the highest level. I know its a different sport but in Japanese women pro-wrestling at its peak basically the women were done by 28-30. The style was so physical that the women in comparison to the men were done by 30.

Many female pro boxers are starting their careers in their mid thirties and sadly some are only a handful of fights away from being in a 'World Title' fight.

If anything the women can compete longer than the men.
Them fading due to age and wear and tear isnt as visible in actual in ring performances as men.
