Boxing socialism is an 'interesting' concept especially in the context of Joshua and the Sky/Matchroom machine of the last several years (of which he is a small part).

I don't think he meant it as socialism, more that boxing has a structure which, if followed properly, would see licensing and other money trickle down. I've genuinely no idea but would assume influencer boxing re-uses the same referees, judges, etc, so surely that happens in practice anyway? And at least some of them use trainers like the Tibbs gym. His point assumes none of that happens.

 

How many times has Macklin said that Clarke has been unlucky so far in his professional career? It wasn't long ago Sokolowski got robbed against Adelaye, in a bout he clearly won.

The bloke can't even grasp basic spelling and grammar, so unless he is dyslexic, I highly doubt that he will be some sort of policy mastermind.

Tonight taught me two things: Clarke is very slow in the ring, and probably just as slow out of it.

I think we are being a bit harsh on Frazer Clarke at 6-0. Connor Benn didn't look like he could crack an egg early in his pro career, then all of a sudden he was knocking out everyone.
