I guess it was Glenn McCrory that Ian Darke worked with on Sky Sports. Together they were excellent.

Reg Gutteridge and Jim Watt formed a formidable commentary duo.

The 90's and early 00's equivalent of what we get today would be Jane Couch vs some dinner lady headlining shows and Danny Williams vs Julius Francis on PPV.

Back then we also used to look down our noses at Germany for their blatant corruption with the score cards. We are now just as bad if not worse.

 

Nick Halling was before Smith wasn’t he. I know they shared it out at times but Halling did all the main fights. Used to get dogs abuse on here, as did Watt alongside him. Imagine how great it would be having them two back. Have to listen to women on co comms is pathetic. Kills the whole mood.

 

Used to enjoy McCrory as well

 

When they got Malinaggi in was brilliant. They’d all be towing the line and he’d just say it how it was the complete opposite.

Used to like Jamie Moore and Paul Smith doing it too. Very knowledgable and good at breaking down what’s going on.

 

It is quite clear that the woke agenda is in full flow on Sky with all this planned narrative coming out pre and post fight.

Probably the worst night of boxing I have seen on Sky with a very poor headline fight on top.

Then we get all this post fight shyte about Fight of the Year, comparison with Hagler v Hearns and we must see it again.

Thought it could not get much worse after Hearn's final year on Sky but somehow Boxxer have sunk to the floor.

Regarding the fight BBC had Jonas 3-0 up after 3 and somone just told me the same. Did she really lose at least 6 out of the next 7 so convincingly to call it this huge robbery.

 

Do you think Jonas won some rounds from 4 to 10 ? There is a single round which is very close, otherwise Mayer won the rest
