i'm just a bit worried about all this quitting...i mean, nate to me looked like he wanted the easy way out, but the medical reports back him up so i just hope other people dont pick up on this and try to use excuses......face it, we love blood and we love when fighters have to go that extra mile for us fans...
The butt didn't cause the internal damage to the eye, it was only part of the problem. The butt opened the cut and the blood BLED INTO THE EYE! What is so hard to understand? The vitreous Hemorrhage does NOT have to hemorrhage to be considered a hemorrhage-period. Damn!
Campbell was not hurt in that flurry, so I don't see your point in telling us a corny joke. Reality has to set in one day with you arm chair fans. I was pissed at Nate, but this is the reality of the situation.
Campbell was on the verge of getting KO. Did you even see the fight???? He took some extremely hard shots. I'm convinced the punches caused the problems within his skull behind the eye, not the cut.
Campbell has every right to quit before 4 rounds if he can't see even if it bothers us fans. Like I said, until you've been through it, you'll never know what it is like to perform with blood in your eye. Stop trying to give "fit in with the group" answers and be real. You Pac and Juan Diaz fans are just pissed at Nate for talking about Pac and beating Juan Diaz up MORE than examining what really happened in this fight. Phonies...
I'm not that worried. They're are serious consenquences to fighters who quit. Just ask Campbell, Ortiz, and DLH more recently. :yep I think the hungry fighters, the great fighters will not make the same mistake the Camachitas and the Campbellitas of the world.
One such ophthalmologic emergency is a vitreous hemorrhage. Vitreous hemorrhage is defined as the presence of extravasated blood within the space outlined by the zonular fibers and posterior lens capsule anteriorly, the nonpigmented epithelium of the ciliary body laterally, and the internal limiting membrane of the retina (lamina limitans interna) posteriorly and posterolaterally. Because distinguishing blood between the internal limiting membrane and the retina's nerve fiber layer (called a subinternal limiting membrane hemorrhage) from retrohyaloid (subhyaloid) hemorrhage is not always possible, theses conditions are all considered to be types of vitreous hemorrhage.
reminds me...cotto could've easily quit too against clottey in the 5th round, but he kept on grinding and grinding....that's what seperates a champions heart
Dog, u lost the entire board with your blind defending of campbell. If the Cut was not the problem, then what the hell was it in your opinion. Because after the clash of heads he didn't look dazed or wobbled, it was after he was pounded on that he looked helpless and weak. I don't understand your defending of this man who quit. Again, the CUT was not the ISSUE, THEREFORE it had to have been something else, hence the TKO being justified.
First of all just quit it ok...just quit it lol... Second, this is what I posted since you did not read it clearly: The butt didn't cause the internal damage to the eye, it was only part of the problem. The butt opened the cut and the blood BLED INTO THE EYE! What is so hard to understand? The vitreous Hemorrhage does NOT have to hemorrhage to be considered a hemorrhage-period. Damn!
Lamens terms: Too much blood leaked into the eye. Nate says he could not see. I rooted for Bradley as you can check my posting history, and Nate should not have a tko loss on his resume even if you think he quit. Do I think Nate quit, yes...right up until I read what EZE posted.
