Nate Cambpell suffered a vitreous hemorrhage

this is how it works,

the vitreous humorr is not like the aqueous humour. it is a gel-like substance. it is located (in laymen's terms) at the back of the lens and the front of the retina

Now the vitreous has three attachments (which i won't disclose, bec you wouldn't understand anyway because it's too medical).

One of the cause of vitreous hemorrhage is trauma. (some causes are too medical for you to understand.

when someone receives a blow to the head (whether a punch or a butt), the vitreous moves back and forth, and remember the attachments i talked about earlier. it gets tractioned and vessels there may rupture. This is why vitreous hemorrhage is a surgical emergency.

now we don't know if it is a butt or a punch

Now the issue here is:

what did nate complain when he came back to the corner? is it that he coudn't see or is it that he is bleeding? (or maybe he believes he could'nt see because he's bleeding)

and also, now the other issue about is it a butt or a punch/punches. if nate complained of impairment of vision after the butt, that's a strong indication that it was caused by a butt. To make this statement valid, you have to prove that nate did in fact complained about being impaired in vision

Look at how he reacted after the but. The tapes show he was not the same after. I think its an obvious no contest.

well, the way i see him jumping around after the fight was stopped doesn't look like he was in fact experiencing an impaired vision. i might be wrong

 

It was one eye that was impared. If i put a patch on my eye i can still jump around a ring. However if im in a boxing match i would have some serious issues. Especially if i am a righty and its my left eye.

We know that it is possible that the eye itself could've been moved from the butt causing the back of the eye injury. Now Borj, you said the eye is closed, so that means that no blood can get into the eye...correct?

 

No blood can go from OUTSIDE of the eye to the inside. especially in campbell's situation

 

Maybe I should've said eye socket to be clearer. We know that the eye would have to be damaged for blood to literally go into the eye.

 

Nate headbutted Diaz in which Diaz left eye was swollen very fast. Damn i guess Diaz should have take the easy way out like Campbell right?
