If we're going to give Campbell a pass then everyone is going to get a pass, and quitting will be even more common.

Regardless of the extent of the injury, Bradley needs to move on. Campbell is washed up.

The sad part is, if it does get overturned to a no contest than Campbell will be the more likely of the 2 to get a big fight because he will be viewed as weak just like the Rahman/Toney 2 aftermath.

Its better for the sport if that loss stays at it is.

Nah, I think campbell is done regardless.

Who wants to fight a guy like him??? The reward will never be good enough for the risk, even if the risk is minimal.

Campbell's only chance at future big pay days were riding on a win over Bradley.

    I can easily see

Khan, Berto and even Hatton offering a fight to Campbell instead of Bradley right now.

Because hes a much lesser risk than Bradley and brings in about the same amount of reward/U.S recognition/$$$.

The biggest fight that Nate is probably of deserving right now.

Well, taking into account what has been said versus what is to be done.

I did not see a rematch mandated for the lovely Torres-Holt 2 fiasco.

This would fall into the same category, correct?

I would say both deserve a rematch or, neither.

I am taking medicine in Canada, although the damage suggests loss/lack of vision we are unable to determine the severity of it.

As noted in your own medical references, it could be from a simple spot to borderline blindness.

Being a practitioner of this sport as well, I will assure you that this occurs more often then you think with the athletes completing the matches in relative good health.

It's basically the ringside doctors call and the boxer's... A real "pick 'em" situation.

You are one to talk. Remember boxers are not fighting to please us.

Who's the bigger money fight though? Unless Juan Diaz decides to stay at 140 after the Malignaggi fight (or unless Malignaggi wins that fight), there aren't any bigger draws than Nate Campbell, other than Manny and Hatton, neither of whom will go near Bradley since he's just not a big enough name.

Actually, there was, but Torres couldn't make weight, so Demetrius Hopkins stepped in as a last-minute replacement. Then Torres said he could no longer make weight at 140 and moved up to 147, so the fight was called off.
