That didn't even make sense. Dude contradicted himself in that line right there.

often times someone with alot of power will get messed up when he faces someone who can shake off his punches.

 

He said "great power". I never heard anyone say "my opponent had great power, thats why I was able to walk through his punches."

 

Funeka is no push over he has very good pop works the body and head real well.

Not to mention his height... but his weakness is his chin anyways he will give anybody at 135 a very hard time like he did to Nate.

 

i think you misread the quote he never said he was able to walk through Funeka's punches cause he has great power.

What he's saying is that he had great power but I was still able to walk through his punches and that ****ed him up mentally.

 

He didnt say that though.

He said he had great power but the the fact that I could walk through his punches discouraged him.

 

He didn't say that. You're twisting things around and getting confused.

If I'm missing something, please point it out, I'd appreciate it. But once again, I read the quote and he said Funeka has great power & lots of pop, but the fact that he was able to walk through that great power & lots of pop probably got to Funeka mentally. That doesn't make sense to me.

"You have great power & pop, but I was still able to walk through your punches."

Only time you should hear that is after David Tua just sparred with Gamboa. Thats the only way that statement would make sense.

But if I'm nut understanding something or not catching onto something, I'd really appreciate if you guys could point it out. I am hella tired, so maybe I'm mistaking, but I feel I'm comprehending what I'm reading.

 

it's just weird how nate was bitching about guzman not making weight and now he also didnt make weight. props to funeka for accepting the fight even against an overweight opponents. i wish him well in his future fights

 

i think nate could have put it in a better way.

 

Campbell said his power was great, but he hurt Funeka mentally by not showing it. That's what he meant.

I like Funeka as well, and I hope this giant lightweight (6' 1" and can make 133? Are you kidding me?) can get a title shot and eventually win a title. He fought his ass off last night.

basically Nate is saying that even though Funeka has alot of power, Nate is such a tough sonofabitch that he was still able to walk through it. And that when Funeka saw was a badass Nate was, he pissed his pants.
