True. The headbutt could have also caused his heart stop, kidney failure, and erectile disfunction.

Of course it was, but the fact remains that Nate Campbell stopped the fight. That's a TKO.

    exactly

We can speculate that its possible that if Judah fought on he would have gotten obliterated by Clottey, which would have helped Clottey's star shine but instead Judah still has a glimmer of light.

We can speculate that its possible that if Judah let Need Money finish him off, which was coming, questions wouldn't have remained and he wouldn't have been able to get back into the big fight picture as quickly.

If the Rahman fight against Toney, the second one, was a TKO, Rahman wouldn't have gotten Klit.

So yeah, it allows Nate to be sold to the public again.

    I miss that...

Did the referee said he TKO'ed Nate for shouting "stop the fight" ??

Where in the fight is that part ??

The fact also remains that the fight was not stopped because of the cut.:good So... I don't understand why everyone is so hung up on this cut.

    Very funny, buxzer..

You should watch the end of the fight again. Campbell tells his corner at least 6 times "I CAN'T SEE!" as he sits down on the stool to be worked on. His cornerman doesn't seem to pick up on what Campbell is suggesting, at which point Nate physically grabs him and says "STOP THE ROUND!"

ALL this takes place before the guy can even wipe the blood away.

Have we gotten Campbell's results from the hospital yet? At this point I'm almost entirely convinced he was lying about "seeing spots" or whatever the **** it was.. He wanted that fight stopped, something serious. You can see the wheels turning, BIG TIME.

Once again... watch the Campbell in the corner. Also... watch the back and forth between Campbell and the doctor. The fight was only stopped because Campbell claimed he was seeing spots. The doctor did NOT "see blood" behind his eye... and the Doctor did not consider the cut bad enough to stop the fight. Therefor... the fight is NOT a No Contest.

Does blood cause one to see "white spots" as Campbell claims?

This is perhaps the most blatant attempt to TACTICALLY bail out of a boxing match that I have ever seen. Campbell's hysterics in the corner were a far cry from the tough guy we see in interviews. I'm surprised Nate didn't hire one of the those bi-planes with the banners flowing off the back so he could make it more clear to his corner.

At 37, with no belts and no massive fan base, the wheels should have been turning.

Nate is past the point IMO where he needs to prove to us that he is a real fighter. That's the reason why I can't seriously compare this to the recent Ortiz, Guerrero, or even Witter quittages. What I do compare it to is Barrera looking like someone had taken a hatchet to his dome against Khan. Another fight that clearly should have ended with a NC, but was decided in favor of the young hometown star.

Bottom line, if Bradley had damaged Nate with a punch, no one would be arguing anything today. But he didn't.

Yes, he didn't damage Nate with a punch. But then again the headbutt isn't the reason the fight was stopped. Nate tap-dancing like Gregory Hines, grabbing people, screaming in their face to have it stopped, is the reason the fight was stopped.

    Excellent Barrera reference, Apollo.

In Toney vs. Rahman II doctor didn’t consider cut bad enough to stop the fight, but stopped it because Raman claimed he couldn’t see.

In that match you did thinked that it was good enough reason to cause no contest.
