D Source - Now let’s talk about some other fights out there. Can you share us your thoughts on Mayweather against Marquez?

Nate Campbell – Uhmm… I’m really more concerned about my fight. I’m not even concerned about their fight.

D Source – Alright. Let’s talk about your trainer, John David Jackson. Tell us how working with him is going right now.

Nate Campbell – Always a pleasure working with John. From the day I walk in the gym, to the day I leave, I’m always learning something from John David.

D Source – Mr. Jackson had mentioned something in the past regarding another 140-pounder in Manny Pacquiao. He had made a comment about Pacquiao avoiding African-American boxers. Can you give us any comments about that?

Nate Campbell – I think John made the comment. I mean, think it was a good comment. You tell me one African-American fighter he’s (Pacquiao) fought. I mean, you can check the record.

We said African-American fighters. And I had a lot of fans like…

D Source – And with his upcoming fight looking like Miguel Cotto when he could have chosen somebody like you or Shane Mosley…

    Nate Campbell – Because

I mean, I’m just asking the question. I’m posing the question.

D Source – Who do you think is the best in the 140 division right now?

    Nate Campbell –

D Source - Right on, right on… And in parting, do you have any messages to your fans out there? Any announcements?

Nate Campbell – I just want to thank my fans for supporting me and loving me and always sticking by me. Whenever I’m leaving, I’ll be eternally grateful and I always did my very best.

D Source- Absolutely. Thank you Nate. We’ll see you at the Agua Caliente on August 1st. Good luck! And stay healthy alright?

Nate Campbell – Thanks man. Thank you.

D Source – Thank you champ.

    Nate Campbell – Alright bye.

    (Nate hangs up)

I like Nate but if he is hinting he can beat Pac he is deluded, **** me he got knocked out by Peden, then in the rematch he was bashed again by him, Pac would ruin him.

Nate is already doing everything wrong here. If he wants to have a match with Pacquiao, he shouldn't be pulling the race card. Hell even Mosley is not pushing that envelope and he has a bigger chance to get into the ring with Pacquiao. It just shows that Nate is desperate. I will be routing for my Boy Tim Bradley in August. He couldn't even knock Juan Diaz out! Even Diaz knows better than to call out Pacquiao at this stage of his career.

I guess that mother****er is still dizzy from that punch. Imagine Pacquiao hitting him harder than that with his arms up. Pacquiao will get arrested for first degree murder! LOL

Nate is a hell of a fighter and seems to be a straight-up kinda guy, I agree this is beneath him.

almost bitter but there's some truth.

maybe nate should fight 48 non african americans and he'd probably be a hype job too as well.
