...fighters, that is...he has a wealth of knowledge about boxing and I can't wait to see how he fares in this, his latest endeavor. He promises that he'll make world champions and I'm pulling for him. He had some flaws as a fighter (as all fighters do) but I think his defense was underrated, as well. His lapse of judgement in that first Robbie Peden fight still makes me shake my head, though. But, hey...live and learn. Galaxy Warrior, baby...vamos!
Well most of the best coaches weren't the greatest of fighters... Why not? Another ex-pro with a wealth of knowledge is passing on his secrets, good news.
At the very least, his personality will ensure that some decent sound-bites are heard during his corner-work. Here's hoping his can succeed in this pursuit.
Good deal. They showed him on the ESPN2 FNF commemorative highlight reel montage last night, and I wondered about what ever happened to him. (even though I think we're friends on Facebook). That's awesome news. I can see him doing well. Plus, the Galaxxxy would be a wicked name for a gym!
Absolutely. He also made reference to his fighters having an advantage over other fighters whose trainers never actually fought. Nate tells it like it is, so it would be interesting to see how his fighters approach adversity and how they would overcome it. Always been a fan of Nate and I look forward to seeing how this works out for him.
