This is the perfect combination of Campbell wanting a way out of a fight he was being outclassed in AND Bradley giving him a way out. If the headbutt didn't occur, I have no doubt that Bradley would have won easily on points.
I agree with you. I also think Nate made the right decision for himself, even if it seems to be getting ragged on by alot of people. I have no desire to see a fighter go blind just to prove his toughness, particularly if a headbutt is the catalyst. Let that be a lesson to Tim- even though he's graduated from the Holyfield Headbutting Academy, he's still got a bit of practice to do on masking it before he gets his doctorate. Bradley will still take care of business in the rematch. :good
Bradley does need work on his head first punch later technique. Though he does possess the perfectly round dome to deal the punishment. Same as Holy and a few others... I think Tarver could impose this tactic with his perfectly round head.
Good, it's the right call. Nate did the smart thing to not fight a tough fight with a cut when he didn't have too. It's not the best for fans, but it's the best choice for a fighter. Bradley was gonna be a tough fight without a cut, but with a cut it was stupid to continue.
'Wat' I mean? Bradley did not win the bout fairly (he didn't win it at all in the end!), watch the replay and/or take your head out of the sand/Bradleys anus.
