Truth is people did put down those fighters. Ali was maybe the moxt bashed fighter of all times. Louis is the only one on your list that wasnt put down. Jones not put down:huh , hell people are still bashing the guy and he is shot to hell, bitching about who he is fighting at almost 40.

Nate Campbell is right and the only people that will disagree are the guilty:yep

great video but what does that have to do with what the guy is talking about:huh

I could plug in video's of fighters like Pac getting an 8 count from a ****ing jab, and the ref saving his ass in his backyard. Or Wlad getting knocked out by a total bum.

What about Williams I guess he is a loudmouth?? How about Taylor that is kid that is a role model in boxing and yet he is bashed to no end..If you want to talk about a douchebag How about Oscar who makes some of the worst comments by a boxer in the past 20 years and most of them are rarely even read or heard. IE, Jews are greedy, and Arum is the greedist Jew to come from Harvard....Or Black fighters are soft and they cant take it to the body. Even Vinny Paz said he didnt understand how Oscar could get away with making comments like that.

bottom line is people love fighters who come to fight and give them their money's worth. It has nothing to do with black brown white. People dont like arrogant guys who talk smack and dont take risk in the ring either. I never heard of people giving Mosley ****...

Sure did, in fact a poll not so long ago here showed that about 80% of the poster here felt like Oscar was robbed in that fight. I have to admitt that I was one of the 80%, cuz I thought that Oscat won 9 rounds in that fight EASY.

Taylor got **** for fighting smaller guys and not doing what he was supposed to do against them. Oscar got some **** too for fighting small guys at 130 and 135 but at leasta he was KOing them. Like I said there are many black fighters who are embraced but the loud mouth,no risk taking, cherry picking fighters will always get ****. Nate doesn't fall under that category but i could see how his arrogance can **** people off a bit.

I've always admired Nate in always talking logically. He called out fighters and step up into the plate to prove his words . . . but this time I'm not with him on this issue of playing out the "race card".

SRL; Hearns;Hagler;Tyson; Ali are some of my favorite fighters . . . and they are all black.

Nate maybe speaking his hearts out on this . . . his true feelings . . . but it doesn't necessarily mean it's the truth. :deal

What Nate was talking about is what exactly has changed since years gone by? For every Duran, Sal Sanchez, and Finito Lopez of old, today has a Marquez, Barerra, or Morales to take their place. But who has filled the void of Hagler, Leonard, Hearns, Ali, Foreman, Pryor, etc. in todays boxing? Is it simply a lack of new talent in the black community, or some type of media shift away from black fighters towards the more tv friendly style of latino fighters? Thats what he was talking about. Of course a one sentence quote is easier to post, but it kinda takes his conversation out of its original context.
