Good! Everyone knows the alphabet belts are a joke anyway. Nate wants to go after the REAL top fighters to prove something and I give him credit for doing so. It's just to bad he didn't hold a press conference to publicly throw the belt in the trash!

Maybe Barrera reminded him of Peden. Barrera defeated the same Peden who KOd him twice.

Nate Campbell is looking at a fantastic three fight schedule this year. First his fight IBF mandatory with Funeka. Then a match up with the Marquez/Diaz winner (that will decide the true number one of the division), then finally a fight with Barerra. Which, although Marco's getting on a bit, is a money fight for Campbell against a legend. Personally I hope these fights come off for Nate because he's an honest hard working pro who had a major set back with the Guzman debacle.

Also with the Peden disasters. Btw I saw how he lost the first Peden fight (I still have to :patsch every time I see it), but I didn't see the rematch. Can anyone fill me in on how in the world he managed to lose that one too? Was there any funny business going on or what??

Marquez - Campbell is the fight that needs to be made at lightweight.

He lost a close fight to Fana 6 years ago in like his 15th pro fight. That's a ridiculous argument.

You're a tool. No offense, I'll take Campbell's manager's word about what Campbell thinks over your word you internet jockey.

Good move for Nate. More boxers should do the same.

Ah thanks for the info. Peden was always a good, solid guy who came to fight, but I could never figure how Nate could lose this fight without there being something strange going on, unless Peden just had his number. Either way, I always thought it was a shame that they couldn't have had the rematch on HBO so Nate could redeem himself for the blunder in the first fight, which I was almost absolutely sure he would have done if he was mentally and physically sharp and had stayed focused throughout the entire duration of the bout.
