Can we say this fight is for a P4P top 10 spot? Here's why:

Many experts came close to put Juan Diaz on their top10 list based on his furious wins over former and reigning champs - just one really big win was missing. Then came Campbell and took his IBF, WBA and WBO titles with a fantastic, maybe the year's best performance. As Margarito earned Cotto's P4P spot, we should consider Campbell as a top11 to 20 P4P-er.

Joan Guzman on the other hand really is one of the very best based on skills, but he misses the top10 because the lack of big names and lack of fights. What a waste of months bacause of injuries and VISA problems... he was ready for a LW title way back vs. Katsidis, but now he'll fight the one who holds 3 titles.

So you've got a great champ at 135 with his best win this year over the almost-top10 P4P-er Diaz, and a very skilled undefeated fighter in Guzman who's looking to finally earn his spot as one of the best fighters out there.

I say the winner gets Mijares' or Calderon's spot. Neither holds 3 titles or have dramatic wins and even if I like them both, Mijares should fight Montiel and Calderon should fight Solis first then speak about a legitimate P4P spot...

But the most important question here is: Who wins?

This is the fight I'm waiting to see.. I really hope Campbell can pull this one out and put a beating on Guzman.. This fight will probably go to a decision and you know Guzman will be running around the ring the whole night.. I think Campbell's best shot is to cut the ring off from Guzman, and to rough him up on the inside.. Tire him down and try to make him miss.. He shouldn't start off too fast, but should pick it up towards the middle rounds..

I'll be so happy if Campbell can knock off Guzman so Guzzy can stop talking so much **** about being avoided and as well I would like to see a Campbell vs Pac fight in the future before Pac retires..

    I'll go..

    Campbell SD Guzman

I also hope they have some credible judges, because the ones at the Katsidis/Diaz fight were horrible..

I think the winner would get in the Top 10 p4p. I can't wait to see this fight. I'll say Guzman by decision.

I think Guzman's lack of power here would really hurt him in this fight. He'll be facing a very tough veteran who roughs you up and doesn't shy away from using questionable tactics to take you out of your game. Let's also not forget that Campbell beat Juan Diaz at his own game. Meaning Campbell is definitely no slouch in the workrate department and would relentlessly unload on Guzman any chance he gets. Guzman I expect would be running all night which is what I would expect him to do because he has better ring smarts than Campbell, better accuracy, better arsenal of punches and along with his speed advantage he can just stay outside and pick his shots accurately. It is IMPERATIVE that he should NOT get lured into a brawl like he always does before because I can see Campbell knocking him out!

Very tough fight for both guys. I will be rooting for Nate. But I think Guzzy wins an SD.

i really dont want Guzman to win but I think he is the favorite in this one due to his style. I dont see campbell wearing him out like he did juan diaz

Joan Guzman should take a decision here but I think it'll be a lot closer than people make it out to be. I wouldn't be shocked if there's a lot of controversy around it.

Guzman by decison, and yes, Joan needs P4P consideration if he gets this win. He's already one of the best in the game it seems. It's about time he started getting in that conversation.

I think Nate is gonna cut the ring off properly and wear Guzman down with body shots in the later rounds.

I'm pulling for Campbell in this fight but I've never seen Guzman fight before so I don't know what to make of this fight other than Guzman being hyped up quite well.
