:good At least JMM would have W from somebody who is in is real honest to goodness PRIME. Campbell may not be as explosive as CASA and Mab when they were prime but still credit for JMM since this time Campbell can be said that he is in his prime..
I agree. Nate is a good boxer, but I feel like he got a lot of bandwagon fans and hype when he beat Diaz. I would like to see a rematch between Nate and Diaz.
Right on the nose. Campbell up to the Diaz fight had'nt impressed anyone.......all of a sudden one win and people have him on p4p lists. The case with Campbells demolition of Diaz can very well be due to styles. .....being that Campbell is very adept at handling come foward pressure fighters that dont hit very hard. If we look at the consistency of both fighters in the ring, this fight resolves to being a clear victory for JMM if it ever comes about. I need more than one good performance by Nate Campbell, so that I can respect him as being a bonafide opponent that has a real chance vs JMM. .....a pity that the Campbell-Guzman fight fell apart due to Guzman's weight issues. A good performance vs Guzman and Nate Campbell picks would have held some water.
Thats your opinion....after the weighin, when it was determined that Guzman could not make weight but that the fight would proceed regardless, Mayweather Sr. (Guzman's trainer) was the first to object that Guzman was in no shape to fight after his struggle to try and come down to the weight limit. Why the Guzman fight did'nt come about, does'nt really matter. What matters is that we did'nt get to see Campbell in action, and so we could'nt determine how good a fighter he really is or has become, outside his one fight with Juan Diaz. Kelly Pavlik looked great against Jermaine Taylor, but then is taken apart by Hopkins, who was twice beaten by Taylor. Great fighters find ways to beat or at the very least stay competitive with different styles, JMM has clearly done that, Nate Campbell clearly has not. In JMM you're looking at a fighter that can adapt to the different styles and to different situations. Campbell just has'nt proven he can do that.
I'd favor JMM to win, but will be rooting for Campbell.. I do think Campbell has a nice chance at beating JMM tho.. JMM is a counter-puncher and Pacquiao was able to open him up by brawling and trading shots with him.. If Campbell can open him up somehow by getting in the inside and roughing him up, he could win by decision.. More than likely though, JMM will probably counter-punch him all night.. I think JMM vs Diaz will happen more than likely though seeing as how they're both under GBP.. Campbell will probably fight his mandatory Ali Funeka..
Pretty much. It's hard to back Nate on this one, considering his ridiculous inconsistency. I think he'd put on a game tough performance but against come up short. If he comes in rusty and what not? JMM easily.
