Hope this isn't one of GBP's many cheap maneuver to gain media mileage and a better bargaining chip for their fighter...otherwise, this is a great match-up to look forward to.

As I said in the other thread I had posted before I even saw this one, JMM is taking a huge risk in taking this fight.. If Campbell was to defeat JMM, would JMM ever get his rematch? No doubt I think this would be a good fight, but I think JMM is doing all of this to get his rematch with Pac by trying to take out the lightweight divisions top dog.. I don't think this fight will happen though.. I look for Campbell getting a rematch with Casamayor sometime..

This fight all depends on how JMM adjust to fighting at 135. If he's strong at the weight he will win UD 12 but if he's weak at the weight than Campbell will win KO 10.

The gap difference in skill advantage is much wider in favor of JMM vs Campbell, than Mayweather Jr. was vs DLH.....and DLH outweighed Mayweather by about 15 lbs at fight time.

JMM has been fighting as a featherweight all his career, 135 lbs is not that huge a jump. Its been proven that featherweights can make the jump to lightweight.
...and the more skilled involve here the better the chances that fighter making the jump has to suceed.

JMM by very comfortable decision over Nate Campbell.

Joan Guzman because of style issues is the only fighter I see giving JMM a true test at 135 lbs and below.

I'm shocked at how many has picked Campbell.

Juan Manuel Marquez hits harder than Robbie Peden, and with better speed and technique.

    Marquez UD.

But Campbell's footwork, speed, combination punching and right hand make him a tall task for anyone, including the somewhat slow-footed Marquez.

I see Marquez plodding forward, Campbell moving laterally, and Campbell taking home a close, maybe controversial decision in a good one.

There's no evidence he used drugs against Juan Diaz; he used a crisp right hand, and better defense/stamina.

Saying he used drugs, without real backing, is toothless and downright wrong.

And yes, Campbell does have a chance. Marquez LOST his last fight to Pacquiao. Campbell beat Juan Diaz. Campbell is more experienced at a higher weight, and is faster with his hands and feet. Marquez loses, SD or UD.

Marquez clear UD. He will hold 3 belts whilst Pac holds the WBC belt from David Diaz. A rematch between the 2 could be for the undisputed title, meanwhile Casamayor holds the ring & lineal title, maybe winner faces Casamayor.

hey asswipe, Diaz didnt take a test either. And do a little research. Campbell's punch output wasnt that much higher than in the Ricky Quiles fight, or the Kid Diamond fight (allthough Diamond was only a 10 rounder, so do the math). The difference here was Diaz doesnt know how to move, so he was there to be hit all night.
