It's gonna have some fun build up, but who knows how Conor looks at 170...I'm picking Conor by UD in a barn burner but I hope Nate surprises us with a submission.

It should make for an entertaining fight. On a side note having the fight at welter is further confirmation that Mcgregor is never fighting at 145 ever again. He should be quickly stripped of the FW title, no point in having Edgar continue to be sidestepped for his shot.

conor has made a name for himself draining himself down from 170 and beating up little guys at 145, he is going to get rouseyed and the ufc knows it, that's why they had to bring him down a notch, conor is starting to demand more and more money claiming he IS the ufc. well dana white made a smart move here setting conor up for failure, he will lose to a taller naturally bigger man with a longer reach, great stand up skills and great submissions as well. conor was getting way too big for his britches, this fight will bring him back down to reality.

UFC will allow him to keep the FW title so they can promote him as champ in two divisions. Maybe they will pay Edgar some sort of step aside money to keep quiet lol

Step up or down (or lateral move) from dos Anjos? :think

    Down, easily.

I like the Diaz Bros. But they are overrated and limited.

Dos Anjos with his power, grappling and insane engine would have really tested Conor.

Diaz will be a walking punch bag. He'll be done within a round.

Kicks are his downfall, and Conor will land them on him at will.

So the size means nothing, as far as mitigating that?

Nope. Nate's never been effective above 155, and Conor will be improved tenfold after not having a gruelling cut. :good

So for the record you'd favor Dos Anjos to beat Diaz as well, yeah?

    He already has! :good

Nate has no strength at 170. McDonald LITERALLY rag-dolled him.

155 is the place for Nate. :good

Also, Nate/Penn would be great If BJ is mentally "on". ;)

    Oh!

Yeah, I don't follow MMA too closely these days.

..but I do see that was a catchweight bout and Nate had troubles on the scales. Was that not really a factor, you think Diaz would've lost anyway?
